“What we learn with pleasure,

we never forget.”

-Alfred Mercier

We are so fortunate to celebrate our 17th graduation on Saturday. From Hi no de pier, we sailed in to Tokyo Bay with  Haneda airport and Odaiba in the background, we enjoyed children’s performances, our graduation ceremony, and our guest performers.

Great company, the cruise was filled with laughter, tears of joy, children were stoked, parents were proud. But above all, there were feeling of accomplishment from all corners of the room.

Graduates and students worked hard to be better than yesterday, and to understand their best work. They put on amazing performances, so well- they looked ready for Hollywood. Inspiring poems from the graduates made all of us proud! It was clear that they appreciated their parents, enjoyed their friends company and loved learning and spending time at J’s. With friends all continuing into other international schools, Nishimachi and St. Maur’s to name a few.

A little glimpse from the graduation.

“On the day of my son’s high school graduation, I vividly remember his kindergarten graduation[at J’s, 13 years ago]. He was a lot smaller and a lot cuter. However, his love of learning hasn’t change at all. Thank you for creating such a strong foundation of learning.”

A beautiful ceremony to conclude a beautiful school year. Thank you to everyone who made this day possible.
