When does your school year begin and end?
We follow the International School calendar, with the school year starting on September 1st and concluding in mid-June.
When are you closed?
We follow the Japanese Statutory Holidays.
Can my child start mid-term?
Yes! We operate on an open enrollment policy and welcome new students throughout the year, provided we have available slots.
What is the minimum requirement for my child to enroll?
We accept students from 15 months old, is able to walk and they meet the basic physical requirement for starting at our school they will be able to join.
What is the teacher-to-student ratio in your classes?
Our teacher-to-student ratios are as follows:
Little Lambs: 1 teacher for every 3 students
Busy Bees: 1 teacher for every 5 students
Ready Rabbits: 1 teacher for every 7 students
Clever Cats: 1 teacher for every 10 students
Can we enroll our child even if the parents do not speak English?
We welcome families from all over the world, and it is not a requirement for parents to speak English as their first language.
Are your educators trained in first aid?
Yes, all of our educators receive Childcare CPR and Infant CPR training every two years.
Is your facility nut-free?
Absolutely! Our facility is nut-free to ensure the safety of all our students.
Do you host events that families can attend with their children?
Yes, we typically have around 10 events each year where parents are invited to join their children. Some of these events, such as our Mochitsuki (Mochi Pounding) Event, are held on Saturdays to accommodate families with working parents.
Can my child join your school during Summer Break?
Yes! We offer a 9-week Summer Fun Program and welcome children from outside our regular school community to participate. You can choose to enroll for a few days or several weeks.
